'FREE CONSULTATION'
All initial consultations are 'FREE'. Read below to learn more about what to expect when we come to your home.
'FREE' Initial Consultation:
Generally an initial consultation will take from 30 -60 minutes, but we llike to reserve at least 2 hours because sometimes it does take that long to go through all paperwork and spend time with your pets.
- We will gladly discuss all of your options including other pet care services so that you have as much information as possible to make a sound decision as to the best service for your household.
- We will focus not just on you but also on your pet(s). Remember not to force your pet to meet us. It’s better if we get a chance to sit down and do the paperwork first. That way your pet(s) can get used to our scent and voice instead of feeling like they may get chased every time we are there.
- We will discuss your paperwork and answer any questions you may have.
- We wil explain the vet release as a form that lets your vet know it’s ok for your pet(s) to receive treatment if the pet becomes ill or injured.
- All legal considerations will be discussed. Legal considerations contain the legal topics, such as late payments, schedule issues, accidents and if your plants wilt while your gone. It also contains the cancellation schedule in case you need to cancel service”.
- You will need to fill out pet information forms for each pet. Kids can help, and often enjoy talking about their pet. Similar pets can be combined onto one. We will make sure to get a description of each pet so there are no mix ups later. We will need to know about any “biting” incidents even if they were minor or special circumstances just so the records are accurate.
- You will fill in the name & contact info on the Contact Info sheet, as well as emergency contacts.
- We will fill out the service request together and calculate the total cost of service.
- At this point you will need to give our pet care specialist a brief tour to show where everything is, and walk around with the home guide check off. Part of the tour will include where our pet care specialist would find the paper towels, water & food bowls, play toys, medications, etc.
