Do I need to give advanced notice to use your service?
Yes and No. LOL
Although we prefer to be notified 2-3 days in advance we understand that sometimes 'LIFE' happens. For our families that are already established, they are more than welcome to call us last minute to inquire about last minute scheduling. If you have never used our service before, and are in a bind, we need to at least be able to have time to come to your home for the initial consultation, meet you, your family and your pet. Not everyone is automatically accepted. Without an initial consultation, we cannot service your needs to the best of our abilities.

What about last minute service calls?
As long as you are a regular client you may call to inquire about last minute scheduling. If you are not an 'already established' client, we at least need time to come to your home for an initial consultation. Not everyone is immediately signed up. We need time to meet you, your family and your pet.

Do I have to give a key to my home?
No, you do not need to give us a key to keep on file. However; when you do, it saves us time and you money. If we do not have a key on file there is an additional 'Key Pick-Up' charge. All keys are coded, your name and/or address is not listed on the key itself. All keys are also keep under lock & key, no pun inteded :) . All client information is also kept behind a locked door within a locked file cabinet. Your key safety is a top priority within our office.

Can I leave a key outside, in a secure area?
Yes, you can. You will need to sign a release stating that you choose to leave a key in a secure area (you choose area) outside your home. The release also states that we, Happy Tails Pet Care, have permission to use this key to gain access to your home for pet care purposes only.

When do I pay for the pet care service?
Payment is to be received on the day of service. You should leave your check where your pet care specialist can locate when he/she arrives. If a check for the service to be performed is not there, our pet care specialists are instructed to call our office immediately. We will then attempt to contact you to make arrangements for check pick up or to pay for the service on our web-site. We will not schedule additional visits until payment is received unless an arrangement has been made to receive payment for service on our next service call. Most of our regular clients either pay for their service online or have set up a weekly payment agreement so as no to have to write a check several times a week. Call our office to inquire about these options.

Can I request a 'Text Message Alert' sent to me?
Yes, you can. For a nominal feeof $1.00 per text/pic sent, we will send you a text message alert when we arrive at your home or leave your home. We can also send you a picture message of your pet so you can see first hand how happy he/she is. If you need to send us a text there is no fee attached, so you may respond to our text however you please. :)

How do I add my pets picture?
Just send us an email with your pets picture or pictures as an attachment in jpeg or gif format. We'll do the rest!

What if I'm unhappy about a particular service?
If at anytime you're unhappy with a particular service call us ASAP. Your satisfaction is our guarantee. Maybe the service needs to be performed differently, at a different time of day or you need to add to or decrease the particular service. We can't fix what we don't know. We will gladly speak with you on the phone or come to your home for a more personal meeting to change whatever needs changing.

What if I'm unhappy about a particular Pet Care Specialist?
Call our office ASAP! You should be completely satisfied with your Pet Care Specialist. There should be no doubt in your mind regarding the safety of your pet or home. So far, in all cases of concern, we were able to rectify the situation and concerns of our clients who were unsure. Communication is the key to success. We will gladly speak with the Pet Care Specialist coming to your home regarding any concerns you may have. Of course, your request must be within the parameters of our company policy and procedure. If you have misplaced your copy of our policy and procedure booklet, please call our office. We will gladly send you another copy.

Pampered Pets Bakery; Are the ingredients natural?
For the most part, yes. We do not add any preservatives or additives to any of our baked goods. All ingredients used can be found in most household kitchens. All ingrediants are purchased from our local grocery store. If the additive is already in the product purchased such as flour, sugar, oatmeal, milk, etc., then it is beyond our control as to what is already in the product. Unfortunately, in order to keep costs down for you, we are not able to purchase organic products. We do hope to offer this in the future based on our customer requests.
